How to find the right size

Size Guide

The most important measurement is the back length.

Your dog should be standing with its head up. Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail – where the back ends – and refer to the size chart. Choose the closest size.

If your dog's measurement falls between two sizes, choose the smaller size if your dog has a slim build, or the larger size if your dog has a broad chest or a sturdier build. Nordic Shield does not shrink in the same way as our drying coats, as the outer fabric is not made from bamboo.

You can follow your dog's front legs up to the neck to find the starting point for measuring the back length. Only use the head and neck measurements to check whether your dog can fit into the coat.

Washing guide

Just like your own rainwear, the jacket only needs washing if it’s really dirty. The product will last longer with less washes. If it’s just wet, simply hang it up to dry and use it again on the next rainy walk.

1. Wash in the washing machine or by hand at only 30 degrees celcius

2. It is important to use a short wash cycle

3. Do not soak

4. Use washing powder without enzymes for best results. They may be marked with 'non bio' and are recommended for natural fabric types. If you don't have that type of washing powder, you can still use ordinary washing powder as the next best solution

5. Hang to dry

6. Avoid drying directly in the sun to preserve the color as best as possible
