How to measure your dog

  1. Have your dog stand with its head raised

  2. Follow the front leg all the way up to the point where the dog’s neck begins

  3. Measure from this point down to the base of the tail.

  4. Use this measurement in centimeters to find the right size by using the chart further down the page.

Size chart

NOTE: For Spirit 2.0, Supreme 2.0 and Rainforce, several customers have observed that they run large in size. This is due to the wider neckline. If your dog has a thin neck / slim body, you should therefore choose one size smaller.

The dog’s weight does not affect your choice of size. Measure the dog along its back and check the chart below.

If your dog is slim-built, you should often go half a size down compared to the measured size with the Supreme 2.0 and Spirit 2.0 models due to the neckline. For example, a field Labrador.

FAQ

It’s difficult for me to measure my dog. How accurate would it be if I only chose the size based on the breed in the chart?

We recommend finding the correct size by measuring your dog, as there can be large variations in size within each breed.

I have a puppy that I would like to buy a drying coat for. Which size should I choose?

As long as your dog is still growing, it’s best to wait. When your dog has reached its full size, you can safely measure and choose the correct size. Keep in mind that dogs of the same breed can end up at very different sizes – so make sure your dog is fully grown before buying a drying coat. Otherwise, it might end up being too tight or too small.

I have a dog with a unique body type. How do I choose the right size for it?

(e.g. Chow Chow, English Bulldog, Italian Greyhound, etc.)

It can be difficult to find the right size for certain breeds. In these cases, we recommend trying a drying coat on your dog in a physical store – that way you can be sure the size is a perfect fit.
